First off, hello, yes I’ll actually be blogging in 2021! If you came here from an automated notification… please comment and tell me where you came from, because it’s been so long, I no longer know what I have set up. š
I get this question a lot from aspiring RVers and digital nomads – āwhat job can I do while traveling?āĀ It’s probably one of the most common things I’m asked, alongside how to stay safe while traveling and how to pick an RV.
I’ve decided to finally put together a list that I can refer people to, with real life examples (coming soon.) It’s time to stop making excuses and start working remotely!
There are so many options when it comes to getting a job as a digital nomad that it boggles my mind. Really any job that can be done remotely is a valid choice, so you need to narrow down what youāre interested in or good at to find good digital nomad jobs to apply for.
Working as a digital nomad gives you the ultimate freedom and flexibility to work from anywhere – something people with traditional employment in an office canāt usually do. The idea is that you want to be able to work wherever there is internet.
Post-COVID, many more employers have transitioned to remote work than ever before, so the opportunities are brighter than theyāve ever been.Ā
What this nomad job guide will include…
A lot of bloggers will lump in the āfreelanceā and self employment type jobs such as bloggers or copywriters into their digital nomad job guides, but in this post, I want to focus on traditional salaried employment, or what we would typically call a JOB. There are a multitude of ways to make money from the road – having a remote job is just one of them, but itās a pretty focused subset and some people prefer the consistency and comfort that a regular paycheck from a regular job brings.
So without further delay, here are some of the best jobs you can have as a digital nomad! Because Iām an RVer, many of these jobs will have an RVing angle, but many others are appropriate for nomads traipsing around the worlds on flights as well.Ā
